About the Course
The botany course gives students an introduction to the changes on our planet that plants affect. By understanding this ability, students will learn more about why this occurs and how we determine these changes, for better or for worse. Students will apply this knowledge to current struggles on our planet that are affected by botany and how they can be overcome. In applying a knowledge of STEM to solving real-world issues, students learn the value of STEM and why it is such an important field.
Your Instructor
Addison Campbell
Addison is a rising junior from Christiansburg High School. He enjoys learning about and teaching botany, genetics, and astronomy. His free time consists of tending to his plants, reading, and going on hikes.
